(DUGGER) - A teen and her two passengers were able to get out of her car minutes before a CSX freight train struck the vehicle Monday morning at a Sullivan County crossing.
The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office reports 19-year-old Krislyn Dodd of Dugger told investigators her car slid off the roadway and became lodged between the railroad tracks.
Authorities say the crossing is marked with crossbucks and stop signs.
