(BEDFORD) - Young people who are experiencing food insecurity or just want to enjoy lunch with friends can receive free lunch and breakfast through the USDA Summer Food Service program at the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County.
The free meals are provided to all school-aged children, ages 18 and younger, as well as anyone ages 19-21 who has a mental or physical disability (as determined by a state or local educational agency) and attends a public or private school.
The Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County sponsors an open site to serve youth participating in the club's summer programs, youth from homes in the surrounding neighborhood, and all of Lawrence County.
