Paoli Police Arrest Six On Drug Charges

(PAOLI) - The Paoli Police Department arrested six adults and a juvenile on drug-related charges on une 30.

Police report the arrests came when officers, through collaborated efforts, gained information that prescription medications, meth and marijuana were being sold in Paoli.

Throughout the course of the evening, officers conducted organized operations in illegal drug activity throughout the town of Paoli as part of what the department called a "continued effort by the police department to further its zero-tolerance policy on drug use in the community."

Arrested were:

Johnathon Babbitt, 29, dealing a substance represented as a controlled substance, a Level 6 felony, and maintaining a common nuisance, a Class B misdemeanor.
Mercades Smith Babbittt, 25, dealing a substance represented as a controlled substance, a Level 6 felony; possession of a legend drug prescription or drug order, a Level 6 felony; battery with bodily waste committed against a public safety officer, a Level 6 felony; resisting law enforcement, a Level 6 felony and maintaining a common nuisance, a Class B misdemeanor.
Dennis K. Jones, 45, dealing a substance represented as a controlled substance, a Level 6 felony, and visiting a common nuisance, a Class B misdemeanor.
Donnie Gene Patton, 51, dealing in a controlled substance Schedule I, II or III controlled substance, a Level 6 felony; possession of a Schedule I through IV controlled substance, a Level 6 felony and maintaining a common nuisance, a Class B misdemeanor.
Brady W. Chastain, 29, dealing in a Schedule I, II or III controlled substance, a Level 6 felony; possession of a Schedule 1 through IV controlled substance, a Level 6 felony and maintaining a common nuisance, a Class B misdemeanor.
John Bundy, 48, possession of cocaine or narcotic drug, a Level 6 felony and visiting a common nuisance, a Class B misdemeanor.

Police didn't release the name or gender of the 16-year-old, who was charged with dealing in marijuana, a misdemeanor, possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor, and conspiracy, a Level 6 felony.
