(ORLEANS) - Registration for new and returning students of Orleans Jr.-Sr. High School begins Tuesday and continues through July 29.
Registration is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
During this time, parents will be able to select insurance options for Chromebooks and pick up class schedules. Insurance forms and payments must be received before students will be issued a Chromebook on the first day of school.
Orleans Elementary School will be welcoming this year's students to its annual open house on Aug. 2, from 6-7:30 p.m.
Additionally, an important, mandatory meeting will take place for incoming fourth-graders and new fifth- and sixth-grade students and their parents regarding Chromebooks for this school year. Parents and students may choose to attend one of two 30-minute meetings at 5:30 or 7 p.m. Parents and students of these grades are asked to attend together. Payment for insurance on the devices also can be made at the meeting. In addition, new students may enroll in the elementary school beginning Tuesday and continuing through July 29, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Insurance forms and payments must be received by all fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade students before they will be issued a Chromebook.
