(SALEM) - Three people were injured in a wreck Sunday afternoon on Ind. 60.
According to a Washington County Police report, 77-year-old Rose Mitchell of Salem was traveling north on West Washington School Road when she pulled her 2009 Chevrolet Malibu into the path of a new 2017 International registered to Sternberg Inc. that was hauling Cosner's Ice. The impact caused the box truck to flip on its side.
Mitchell told police she didn't see the oncoming truck.
Mitchell complained of body pain and was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent-Salem Hospital.
The driver of the truck, 36-year-old Kristen May of Bloomfield and her passenger 23-year-old Richard McDonald of Springville were assisted by members of Westview Christian Church who were at the scene and first responders.
Both suffered minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to St. Vincent-Salem Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
