(BEDFORD) - Two Bedford teen were injured in a crash on North Sandstone Road early Thursday morning.
According to a Lawrence County Police report,16-year-old Jake Ketcham of Bedford was traveling north on North Sandstone Road at 1:01 a.m. when he lost control of his 2000 Chevrolet S-10 when the truck began fish-tailing in a curve in the roadway.
Ketcham told police that his tires caught on some rocks, causing the vehicle roll to one side and crash a barbed-wire fence which wrapped around the front of the truck. The truck then side up against several trees.
Ketcham was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered bleeding to his head. His passenger, 16-year-old Kaigen Vincents of Bedford, who was wearing a seatbelt, suffered minor bleeding to his knee or lower leg. Both refused medical treatment.
