(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after he allegedly got into a fight with his wife over a cell phone and injured her.
According to Bedford Assistant Chief Joe DeWees, officers were called to the home in the 2000 block of Circle Court at 6:35 a.m.
When police arrived the woman told police she had been in a fight with her husband 22-year-old Stephen Gratzer over a cell phone.
During that fight she alleges Gratzer grabbed her and dragged her to the front door and tried to take her cell phone. As he tried to drag her outside, she was able to regain her footing and was able to get Gratzer outside. She then got back inside and locked the door, but he forced his way back in, took the phone and left for work.
After he left, she called police.
The woman suffered an injury to her wrist.
Police then went to Gratzer's workplace and arrested him. He posted a $755 cash bond Tuesday and was released from jail.
