(BLOOMFIELD) - A Bedford man was arrested Tuesday on felony charges of possession of a narcotic drug after being pulled over for allegedly driving left of center.
According to a probable cause filed by Greene County Sheriff's Department, Roger Scnear II drove left of center just before the three way stop at State Road 54 and State Road 45 near Cincinnati.
Scnear failed to provide the officer proof of insurance and was asked to exit the vehicle and the officer request permission to search the vehicle.
Scnear told police there was a small purple bag that contained several syringe needles behind his seat. In the bag police found nine capped syringes, a small bag of cotton balls, Nalozone HCL and a plastic tube with a blue cap that contained a white straw with a white brownish powder substance that tested positive for heroin. They also found Clonazepam in a metal container behind the front floor dash. He told police he got the syringes from a needle exchange clinic in Bloomington.
Scnear was also issued a citation for driving while suspended and a warning for driving left of center.
