(BEDFORD) - A Community Baby Shower will be held on Saturday, September 10 at the Shamrock Center at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Doors open at Noon, with activities scheduled from 1 p.m. till 3:30 p.m.
"The theme for this year's Community Baby Shower is "Puddle Jumpers" and will incorporate rubber ducks, umbrellas, rubber boots, and other rain gear for decorations, " says Karin DuBois Community Baby Shower Chair. "As always, this event is free to the public, and new and expecting parents in 2016 our local community, not just Lawrence County, are invited."
The Community Baby Shower is an event that provides resources and education for new parents.

Each breakout session will share a prevention message and provide education for new parents.
This is a free event for all who have or will have a child in 2016 and reside in our community and/or surrounding areas.
Those attending need to register by Sept. 2nd.

Booths are welcome to pass out appropriate promotional material that advertises their business and/or services.
There is no charge for a booth; we only request that a gift of $20 or more is provided for a lucky participant. Last year they had 200 participants.
