(BLOOMFIELD) - A former Greene County administrator will be stepping out of educational retirement to serve as the interim superintendent for Bloomfield School District.
The Greene County Daily World reports, the Bloomfield School Board approved Doug Rose to serve as interim superintendent until Dec. 31 at a rate of $600 per day for about 10 days a month, plus mileage reimbursement for business-related travel.
With an interim superintendent in place, the board will soon start the search for a full-time replacement for former superintendent Dan Sichting. He left the district just before the start of the school year to begin a career at Frontier School Corporation in White County.
