(BLOOMFIELD) - The Greene County Farm Bureau Inc. handed out several scholarships Monday night during their annual meeting.
The Greene County Daily World reports, the scholarship winners were chosen by judges from other counties.
President Steve Crowe says the only requirement for the scholarship was to have a parent who is a member. The 15 students also had to fill an application out, maintain a good G.P.A and turn letters of recommendation in.
The three chosen were: Cole Anderson, Hunter Cornelius and Buddy Davis.
Members also voted on delegates for the Indiana State Convention next year in French Lick. Selected were - Ben Helms, Steve Lindsey and Gary Heshelman.
County meetings are normally held on the third Mondays of the month. Members are welcome to attend.
Crowe announced an upcoming event of the Greene County Farm Bureau, "Meet the Candidate" night on September 29.
