(UNDATED) - Indiana Conservation Officers and volunteer Hunter Education Instructors are offering several Hunter Education classes in Northwest Indiana in preparation for the 2016 Fall Hunting Seasons.
Indiana Hunter Education Courses provide instruction in safe firearm use and handling while hunting, hunter ethics and responsibility, game identification, and conservation management.
Anyone born after December 31, 1986 is required to be certified in Hunter Education before they can purchase a hunting license. To find a class near you and details on specific classes, please visit www.register-ed.com/programs/indiana
Hunter Education classes fill up fast and you are encouraged to register online prior to start of the class. Walk-in students may be accepted on a first come, first serve basis as room is available. Students are required to attend the entire class in order to take and pass the test.
