(GREENE CO.) - The Indiana Department of Transportation announces short-term lane closures for U.S. 231 and I-69 in Greene County for crack and fog sealing operations.
Beginning on or around Monday, Aug. 22, INDOT crews will begin working on U.S. 231 from County Line Road to just north of the I-69 interchange. Crews will be intermittently closing and shift lanes for the duration of the project for short periods of time. Traffic shifts and lane closures will be dependent upon traffic volume and time of day. All directions of traffic will be maintained during the operations, controlled by flaggers.
Depending upon weather conditions, work is expected to be complete by mid-September. INDOT urges motorists to slow down and stay alert in the work zone, leave extra time, and to minimize distractions.
