(CAMPBELLSBURG) - Two West Washington High School students were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries following a rollover wreck on their way to school around 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Washington County Sheriff's deputies to give the names of the juveniles, but said a 17-year-old female, was driving south on West Washington School Road between Lost River and Beeline roads in her Jeep Cherokee when she drifted to the right side of the road, over-corrected and rolled the vehicle.
She was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent-Salem Hospital, complaining of neck pain. Her 16-year-old brother,was taken by ambulance to University of Louisville hospital with a laceration to his foot.
Police say seatbelts probably saved their lives.
Assisting at the scene were Indiana State Police, Campbellsburg Volunteer Fire Department and Town Marshall and Washington County EMS.
