(MITCHELL) - Two women were injured Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Ind. 37 and Wesley Chapel Road.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 41-year-old Autum Baughman of Mitchell was traveling westbound on Wesley Chapel Road when she drove her 2004 Chevrolet Tracker into the path of a 2010 Impala driven by 71-year-old Dolores Mundy of Mitchell.
Baughman told police she was crossing the median and didn't see the southbound vehicle on Ind. 37.
After the collision, Baughman's vehicle struck the guard rail.
Baughman complained of face pain. Mundy complained of hip and stomach pain.
Assisting at the scene was a Seals ambulance and Marion Volunteer Fire Department first responders.
