(BEDFORD) - A Solsberry man was arrested Thursday after shedding his shorts and exposing himself at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital.
Bedford Police arrested 36-year-old William Johnson after they stopped his vehicle for speeding on Mitchell Road Thursday night. Johnson refused to stop for police, but eventually pulled over at 32nd and R streets.
Police then discovered Johnson was intoxicated.
According to Assistant Police Chief Joe DeWees, Johnson was not cooperative and he was taken to St. Vincent Dunn Hospital for a blood-alcohol test.
After arriving at the hospital's emergency room, Johnson while handcuffed was able to wiggle out of his shorts, exposing himself at a desk near some nurses.
After having his blood was drawn for alcohol was booked into the Lawrence County jail at 12:22 a.m. on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, public indecency and resisting law enforcement.
