(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested Sunday on a child molesting charge.
Police arrested 40-year-old Lloyd Sullivan of Bedford at 6:17 p.m. Sunday.
According to a Lawrence County Circuit Court probable cause affidavit, in June 2005, a Department of Child Services worker reported to police a 7-year-old girl claimed Sullivan molested her.
The victim claims Sullivan asked her if "she wanted to play boyfriend and girlfriend. She then claims Sullivan kissed her four or five times and then asked for oral sex.
Girl says she then ran out of the home. She didn't tell anyone about what happened because Sullivan threatened to kill her if she told anyone.
Sullivan is being held in the Lawrence County Jail on a $50,000 surety or $5,005 cash bond.
