(DUBOIS) - A Dubois man was charged with drunken driving after he crashed into a mobile home early Friday at 12:30 a.m.
According to Dubois County Sheriff's Department, 26-year-old Matthew Lichlyter was traveling northbound on State Road 545 in a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado when he ran the stop sign at the T-intersection with Main Street in Dubois.
The truck ran off the road, went down an embankment ramming into a mobile home at 4517 North Agnes Street.
The homeowner's adult son was awakened when the truck crashed into the home. He was not injured.
Lichlyter suffered minor injuries to his face.
Deputies determined Lichlyter had a blood-alcohol content of .105 percent.
After being treated at a local Hospital, Lichlyter was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and taken to the Dubois County Security Center.
Police noted the truck was a total loss and the trailer between $10,000 to $15,000 in damage including the water and sewer lines were dislodged.
Assisting at the scene were the Dubois Volunteer Fire Department and Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services.
