(HARRISON CO.) - A 41-year-old English woman was killed in an early Wednesday morning crash on I-64 in Harrison County.
According to Indiana State Police, 41-year-old Diana Sue Watson was pronounced dead at the scene after being thrown from her vehicle.
According to police at 12:45 a.m., Watson was traveling west on I-64 in her 2000 Ford Ranger when the pickup went off the roadway and into the median.
According to police, it appears Watson over-corrected, causing the truck to travel back across I-64 and go off the west side of the roadway and strike a rock wall. The Ranger rolled over, ejecting Watson from the vehicle. Another vehicle which was also traveling west, struck the crashed Ford Ranger.
The driver of the other vehicle, 65-year-old Joseph Gilley of Washington, was not injured during the incident.
The westbound lane of I-64 was closed for a short period of time while the crash was being investigated.
