(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Purdue Extension is providing free Safe Sleep education and Infant Survival Kits to parents and caregivers.
The free class will be Thursday, September 29 from 5:30 p.m. till 5:30 p.m. at the extension official at 924 16th Street.
Registration is required to make sure enough survival kits are available.
Topics covered include:
Participants receive a Free safe sleep kit, which includes: one Pack-n-Play, a fitted sheet, a wearable blanket, a pacifier and recommendations to take home for you and others who care for baby.
To participate, you do not have to be a resident of Lawrence County. You must be caring for a child up to 1 year in age, or if you are pregnant, you must be within 1 month of giving birth.
