(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man was arrested after police found meth in his vehicle on Tuesday.
Lawrence County Police arrested 22-year-old Austin Robinson on charges of possession of meth and marijuana.
At 10:08 p.m., a Lawrence County Police Department officer was patrolling Doc Hamilton Boulevard and Rabbitsville Road and stopped a vehicle for improper display of a license plate.
According to Sheriff Mike Branham, during that traffic stop Robinson admitted to having marijuana inside the vehicle.
Police searched the vehicle and found a white powdery substance that field-tested positive for meth and a cigarette with a substance inside that field-tested positive for marijuana.
