(BEDFORD) - Two Bedford teens were injured after the vehicle they were in left the roadway and crashed into an embankment. According to a Lawrence County Police report, the accident happened Thursday at 8:17 a.m. on Little Salt Creek Run Road, near Ozee Farm roads. Police say 16-year-old Josie Fisher was traveling south on Little Salt Creek Run when she attempted to kill an insect inside her vehicle and the 2008 Hyundai Elantra went slightly off the west side of the road. Fisher then overcorrected causing the vehicle to traveling off the east side of the road into an embankment. Fisher suffered knee and foot pain. Her passenger, 15-year-old Katie Fisher, suffered contusions and bruises. Both refused medical attention at the scene.
