(BEDFORD) - Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 50 East and Vocational School Road Monday morning.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 53-year-old Donna Harris, of Bedford, was stopped at the stop sign on Vocational School Road when she pulled her 2003 Volkswagen Jetta into the path of a 2006 Mazda Tribute driven by 47-year-old Stacie Johnson, of Medora.
Police say Johnson was traveling west on U.S. 50 East when Harris attempted to turn east onto U.S. 50 East and struck Johnson's car.
Harris complained of back pain. Johnson complained of neck pain.
Harris was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
Assisting at the scene was a Seals and IU Health Hospital ambulance, Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department and Bedford Fire Department extrication unit.
