(WASHINGTON) - U.S. Marshal Kevin Ferran spent two days in Washington County assisting Washington County Sheriff’s Dept. deputies and Washington County Prosecutor Dustin Houchin discussing protocol for verifying the addresses of sex offenders.
The Marshals were here on a program in which they offered to help each county with one sex offender registry check this year.
The sheriff's department also received a free laptop, camera and scanner to be used in documenting registered sex offenders.
