(BLOOMINGTON) - Young professionals are invited to participate in a summit on homelessness and an afternoon service project on Saturday, September 24.
The day will begin with an overview of the problem of homelessness and plans for ending it, from 9 to 11 am at the Wegmiller Auditorium in the Bloomington Hospital.
Following lunch, young professionals will help landscape and beautify the grounds of The New Hope Family Shelter, at 301 W. 2nd Street
Coffee and registration at 8:30 am. Lunch will be provided. Free parking is available in the hospital parking lot at 2nd and Rogers.
This summit is open to all young professionals and free of charge, but you do need to register by 5 pm, Wednesday, September 21. For more information or to register, please go to Bloomington Rotary Club on Facebook.
