(BLOOMINGTON) - The City of Bloomington will be hosting a community bike ride on Friday. You can dress up in your finest tweed for this fun themed ride!
This easy-going community bicycle ride will take you around town, make several dapper stops, and end at Courthouse Square in order for riders to participate in First Friday festivities. The purpose of the event is to encourage fun bicycling in the City of Bloomington. Dressing up in your finest Tweed (or other dapper autumn attire) is a fun way to start.
Check-in for the event will be at West 8th Street and the B-line Trail (at the table and chairs sculpture) from 5:15-5:30 p.m. We will take a group photo and head out on the ride at 5:35 p.m. We will end at Courthouse Square for everyone to head over to the First Friday event.
Information about the ride is available online at www.bloomington.in.gov/bike, and there is a Facebook Event open for sharing or joining through City of Bloomington Planning and Transportation Department's Facebook page.
