(SWITZ CITY) - An E&B Paving worker was hit this morning on State Road 54 in Switz City.
According to Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy Chris Anderson, the accident was a hit and run case.
"A worker had just been dropped off for her shift and was hit," Anderson says. "She suffered possible broken bones and was flown by helicopter from the scene."
The Sheriff's Department is currently looking for a 2012 or newer black SUV.
"We're guessing it's a Kia Sorento based off of car parts we found on scene," says Detective Sergeant Jim O'Malley. "The vehicle will be missing a passenger side mirror, and we know it was heading westbound on State Road 54."
The Sheriff's Department encourages anybody with information to contact them at (812) 384-4411.
