Crews Busy At Bedford Parks Department

(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Parks Department approved their 2017 fee schedule without any increases.
Bedford Parks Director Barry Jeskewich says fees will remain the same.
In other business:
- Crews are working to resolve a drainage issue at Edgewood Park by repurposing and doing clean up to the area.
- Dead trees were removed near the Red Brick at Otis Park and throughout the golf course.
- Crews installed a new sun shade at Lowery Pool.
- Registrations are being accepted for men's basketball leagues. The fee is $150 per team and the deadline is Oct. 28.
- Adult swimming is available at BNL on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
- The annual Letters from Santa starts November 1
- The Park's Department walking group strolls each Monday through Thursday at 8 a.m., departing from Thornton Park.
- The Fall Challenge at Otis Park Golf Course which was postponed has been rescheduled for October 29.
