(LYONS) - A Sunday night accident near Lyons claimed the life of a Bloomfield man.
20-year-old Evan Sipes was transported to Greene County General Hospital and later transported to Methodist Hospital where he later died.
According to a Greene County Sheriff's Department press release, Sipes traveled off of the roadway on County Road 200 South, west of County Road 800 West, at 8:55 p.m. on Sunday.

Greene County Ambulance Service transported Sipes to Greene County General Hospital, and he was flown by an AirEvac medical helicopter to Methodist Hospital.
The roadway was closed for a short period of time and power lines were down in the area.
