(BEDFORD) - It is that time of the year for the Dress-A-Doll program at Jackson County Bank.
The public and service organizations are needed to check out a doll at no cost, dress that doll and turn it back into the bank for judging. The dolls will then be donated to local organizations to provide children with a gift for Christmas.
Ribbons will be awarded for the best dressed doll in each of three categories: handmade, purchased clothing and those younger than 15. There also is an award for the overall grand prize winner.
"Dress-A-Doll is an important part of who we are and how we serve our communities," said Sara Bevers Hildreth, marketing officer for JCB, in a press release. "We believe every child deserves a toy on Christmas morning, and we love being a part of making that happen."
Anyone interested in participating may visit the Bedford banking center to check out a doll. Anyone with questions may contact Becky Tumey, assistant banking center leader, at (812) 275-1120, ext. 3105.
