(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man was arrested Friday for promoting prostitution after police say the deal went awry.
Bloomington Police arrested 19-year-old Storm Easterly on felony charges of promoting prostitution after police received a call from a man saying he paid Easterly to have sex with a woman that Easterly knew.
Police are also pursuing charges against the man.
Bloomington police met with the man Friday in a parking lot in the 2600 block of east Second Street. He told police he was there to meet a woman that he had paid Easterly $200 to have sex with. The man had never met the woman.
After paying Easterly, the man went up to an apartment to meet the woman, and was forced out of the apartment.
The man then demanded his money back from Easterly.
Easterly told police the woman has done "a little bit of escorting" before and requested his help. In return, Easterly provided her with anything she needed, although no cash. Police say Easterly had been doing this for several weeks finding clients on Facebook.
Easterly was arrested and taken to the Monroe County Jail where he is being held on a $10,000 surety, $500 cash bond.
