(BEDFORD) - A Mitchell woman was injured after she crashed her car Friday afternoon.
According to a Bedford Police report, 88-year-old Mary E. Root complained of chest pain.
At 4:01 p.m., Root was driving south, in the right-hand lane, on Mitchell Road in her 2007 Ford Fusion,when she told police that another vehicle, turning from the northbound lane of Mitchell Road onto 32nd Street, turned in front of her and collided with her car. The other vehicle was a 2006 Chrysler 300 driven by 43-year-old Michael D. Miskuf.
According to the report, Miskuf was turning from Mitchell Road onto 32nd Street and was hit by Root's vehicle. He told police he did not see Root's car when he made the turn.
