(ORLEANS) - The Orleans “bison-tennial” art project has been relocated to its new permanent home in the newly renovated Bicentennial Sulphur Well Park, located on West Vincennes Road.
A marker will be placed soon on site signifying the importance of the project to the Indiana Bicentennial celebration.
The bison was on display downtown last weekend for the Orleans Fall Festival and got lots of attention and photo opportunities.
The town would like to thank Dr. Leah Morgan and the Orleans High School advanced art students who designed the bison and Lorri Hamer and United Way of South Central Indiana and the town crews for all their assistance with the move and final placement.
