(BEDFORD) - The White River Humane Society is in need of your unwanted shoes.
They have partnered with WoofTrax Shoes for Shelters. The more shoes the shelter collects, the more money will be raised to care for the animals at the shelter, plus you will help those who don't have shoes in countries like Honduras, Guatemala, Bolivia, Zambia and Haiti, who was recently devastated by Hurricane Matthew.
The shoe drive runs until November 7.
Last year, the shelter collected more than 2500 pairs of shoes. This year the shelter is in need of your help.
Shoes can be any type, but must be paired and in wearable condition.
You can drop-off you unwanted shoes at the following locations:
