(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was injured after a deer ran into the path of her vehicle Wednesday night.
The accident happened at 5:41 p.m. on Ind. 37 at Trogdon Lane.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, the woman was traveling north on Ind. 37 went the deer ran from the west side of the road into the path of her 2005 Acura MDX.
The impact caused the vehicle's airbags to deploy.
The woman complained of shoulder and upper arm pain and was taken by ambulance to IU Health Hospital for treatment.
