(MITCHELL) - A Bloomington man was lifelined to a trauma center after he crashed his motorcycle Thursday afternoon.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, Ty Osborne was attempting to turn onto Kings Ridge Road from Sorrells Road and was traveling too fast on his 2016 Honda CRF and went left of center and over an embankment where the motorcycle struck a road sign.
Osborne was wearing a helmet but still suffered severe bleeding to his head.
He was taken from the scene by a Seals ambulance and then flown by an Air Evac helicopter to a trauma center for treatment.
Assisting at the scene were Marion Township and Huron Volunteer Fire Departments.
