(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police say a man armed with a handgun ordered two Pizza X East employees into a back office and robbed the eastside store of cash late Sunday night.
Officers were alerted to the armed robbery at 11 p.m. Sunday at the Pizza X East, at 877 South College Mall Road.
Bloomington Police Capt. Steve Kellams says the man was armed with a semi-automatic handgun, but did not point or injury any of the employees.
Two employees told police the man entered the store through a side door, demanded money and ordered them into an office. He was given the money and then fled on foot.
Police are looking for a 5-foot-9, thin black man in his late teens or early 20s. He was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and a white mask.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Bloomington Police Department at (812) 339-4477.
