(BEDFORD) - A Williams woman suffered back pain after an accident on Wednesday morning at the intersection of Ind.37 and 16th Street.
According to a Bedford Police report, 34-year-old James Webb of Bedford was traveling south in a 2011 GM Yukon on Ind. 37 approaching the intersection of 16th Street.
At the same time, 53-year-old Oliver Chastain of Mitchell was turning his 2001 Dodge Dakota pickup west onto 16th Street from northbound Ind. 37.
The two vehicles collided in the southbound lane of the intersection.
Webb told police he disregarded the red light. That was confirmed by two witnesses.
Webb and Chastain were not injured during the incident. A passenger in in Chastain's pickup, 36-year-old Tammy White of Williams, complained of back pain and was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.
Assisting at the scene was an IU Health Hospital ambulance and Bedford Fire Department.
