(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man who rammed his pickup truck into the Lawrence County Courthouse last December is in jail again.
Bedford Police arrested 59-year-old Terry Luttrell on Friday afternoon after a woman reported that Luttrell had beat her and threatened to kill her.
Luttrell is facing a charge of domestic battery and strangulation.
According to a Lawrence County Superior Court I probable cause affidavit, a family member told police that Luttrell was verbally abusive with her and then placed a pillow over her face and she was unable to breathe. He then allegedly picked the woman up and threw her down several times while threatening to kill her.
Police say the woman suffered bruising to her upper body.
Luttrell, who is on probation after ramming his pickup truck into the Lawrence County Courthouse on December 11, 2015, is being held without bond until his court appearance.
