(FERDINAND) - A Huntingburg man suffered head injuries after he crashed his motorcycle in Ferdinand on Saturday.
According to a Dubois County Police report, 52-year-old Curtis James was flown to St. Mary's Medical Center for treatment.
Police say James was traveling west on Ferdinand Road East near New Lake when he lost control of his 1996 Harley Davidson, causing the bike to fall on its left side and go off the road into a ditch and then and then back onto the road stopping in the eastbound lane.
Assisting at the scene were the Ferdinand Police Department, Ferdinand Fire Department and Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services..
