(JASPER) - A French Lick woman was injured after she flipped her vehicle on Kellerville Road in Jasper Wednesday morning.
According to a Dubois County Police report, 32-year-old Shaina Phillips was traveling southbound in her 2002 Dodge Neon around 11:15 a.m. when she failed to negotiate a curve.
Phillips over-corrected, causing the vehicle to go into a skid. The vehicle crossed the road going off the east side of the road and into a ditch where it struck an embankment causing the car to flip. The vehicle rolled and stopped upright.
She suffered head, neck and chest injuries and was transported by ambulance to Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Assisting at the scene were Haysville Volunteer Fire Department first reponders and a Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services crew.
