(MITCHELL) - Foresters will be available on Tuesday, December 20th from 8-10 a.m. to answer questions about trees at the Arby’s restaurant in Mitchell on Hwy 37.
Stop by, pick up your breakfast, and then join local foresters to ask questions about your woodlands or other questions about natural resources.
The informal "breakfast with a forester" is being sponsored in local counties by the White River RC&D Forestry Committee as a way to better inform people about forestry.
"There isn't a presentation involved, we just want to be available to answer people's questions and thought at Christmas time when people are out and about, it might be a good time for them to stop in and take some time to find out about their trees," John Stambaugh, committee chair.
There is no fee for getting advice, and Stambaugh says the foresters will have information on a variety of topics available for people to pick up.
For more information contact John P. Stambaugh at forester@custom.net or call (812) 863-7272.
