(BLOOMINGTON) - Philip Haney will speak tonight at the Grassroots Conservatives meeting at the Bloomington Library, in room 1B.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Program starts at 7 p.m. Pizza and beverages will be served.
Mr. Haney is author of the book See Something Say Nothing, a Homeland Security Officer Exposes the Government's Submission to Jihad. He was a front-line border patrol officer, intelligence expert, and founding member of the DHS.
He identified serious terrorist threats, including links between the Boston Marathon bombers and the Muslim Brotherhood, and between the San Bernardino shooters and the global Tablighi Jamaat movement, well before their unthinkable atrocities were carried out. But rather than being commended for a job well done, the Obama administration, following the policy known as Countering Violent Extremism, responded not with gratefulness, but with orders to sanitize or eliminate the information and launch investigations against Haney.
