(SEYMOUR) - A Seymour suffered serious injures after a head-on collision on State Road 258, just west of Seymour on Tuesday morning.
Indiana State Police troopers along with Seymour Police officers and Jackson County Sheriff deputes responded to the crash around 10 a.m.
According to an ISP Sgt. Stephen Wheeles, a 2012 Freightliner hauling a box trailer, driven by 46-year-old Richard Santel, of Carlyle, IL, was traveling east on State Road 258 approaching Bell Ford Drive when for an unknown reason the semi crossed the centerline. Santel's vehicle, which is owned by Rose Acre Farms, struck a westbound 2012 Chevrolet Equinox driven by 75-year-old Nancy Wilson, of Seymour.
