(BEDFORD) - Two Bedford men were arrested on Friday, November 25 after police were called to an apartment in the 1800 block of O Street about possible drug activity.
When Bedford police arrived at 8:22 p.m. the tenant gave police permission to check the apartment.
Chief Dennis Parsley says seven people were inside the apartment. A police dog was brought to the scene, but no drugs were found inside the apartment.
But when police went to pat down of one of the occupants, they were told there were syringes in his pocket. The two syringes contained residue that tested positive for meth.
Police arrested 27-year-old Bradley Carter of Bedford on charges of possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested was 29-year-old Shaun East of Bedford, who was wanted on warrants for invasion of privacy and failure to appear.
Both have since been released on bond.
