(BLOOMINGTON) - Two brothers were arrested after Bloomington Police Department’s Critical incident Response Team served a search warrant at an apartment in the 1200 block of West Allen Street around 5 p.m. on Thursday.
Police recovered two laptops that were stolen in December during a home burglary.
Police arrested 34-year-old George Gregory on a charge of theft, burglary and fraud. He was also wanted on a warrant for theft.
His brother 39-year-old Jerry Gregory is facing a charge of theft.
Police say that on November 21 the brothers stole a generator and power saws from a trailer in the 2200 block of West Third Street. The are also linked in three home burglaries.
Earlier Bloomington Police recovered the stolen generator after Indiana State Police found the generator in the back of a vehicle which they impounded after a traffic stop.
