(BEDFORD) - Four people were injured after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of 16th Street and L Street Thursday night.
According to a Bedford Police report, 17-year-old Amberly Solari of Bedford was traveling east on 16th Street in a 2008 Pontiac Vibe. She told police she could not remember if she had the green light to proceed through the intersection.
Solari's car struck a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by 34-year-old Heather Canada of Bedford.
Canada told police she had the green light. Witnesses at the scene confirmed Canada had the green light and that Solari failed to stop for the red light.
The impact caused Canada's Trailblazer to flip on its top.
Canada complained of back pain and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
Two juveniles in Canada's vehicle complained of body pain but were not taken to the hospital at the time of the accident.
A passenger in Solair's car, 17-year-old Serina Morales of Bedford, complained of hip and upper leg pain and was taken to the hospital by private vehicle.
