(LOOGOOTEE) - A Loogootee man was arrested Wednesday after police searched his home.
Loogootee police arrested, 45-year-old Anthony Chestnut after a neighbor reported Chestnut was trespassing on their property. Police found Chestnut on the property and 15 grams of meth in his pocket.
Loogootee Police Chief Kelly Rayhill says police then obtained a warrant and searched his home, finding more drugs and drug paraphernalia thanks to K-9 Roxy.
Chief Rayhill says finding those items lead to the arrest of Chestnut's girlfriend Jennifer Yoder, also of Loogootee, with maintaining a common nuisance.
Chestnut was being held in the Martin County Jail without bond.
Indiana State Police, the Martin County Sheriff's Office and the Loogootee Police Department's K-9 assisted in the investigation.
