(BEDFORD) - A Medora woman suffered bruises to her lower leg after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of 16th and K streets, Wednesday night.
According to a Bedford Police report, 71-year-old Brenda Silvers of Medora was traveling east on 16th Street and was preparing to slow the 2011 Kia Sorento she was driving, but when she went to apply the brakes they failed. This caused her car to collide into the rear of a 2004 Ford Escape driven by 21-year-old Hollie Allred of Bedford who was stopped on 16th Street.
Allred was not injured during the incident.
