(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after at two-vehicle accident on Monday night.
Bedford Police arrested 75-year-old James Tincher of Bedford for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
According to police, Tincher had stopped his 1979 Ford F150 pickup at the intersection of 16th and M streets in the right lane and had his flashers activated.
That is when 34-year-old Brian Bunner of Bedford stopped his 2004 Ford Escape behind Tincher's truck to assist. That is when Tincher's truck rolled backward and struck the front bumper of Bunner's vehicle.
Tincher then pulled forward and then stopped and placed the truck back in reverse and struck Bunner's truck a second time.
Tincher submitted to a blood-alcohol test and was arrested.
